Israeli occupation forces yesterday destroyed a Palestinian water network in the village of Bardala in the occupied Jordan Valley, Quds Net reported.

According to the deputy head of the Village Council, Ziyad Sawafta, occupation forces destroy the water networks which supply the village’s farmlands.

Sawafta said that the village has been suffering from a severe shortage of water for seven years, point out that it needs 240 cubic litres per hour and Israel releases only 100.

This, he said, has a negative impact on farms and the income of local families who depend on agricultural.

Last week, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed that Israel would “apply its laws to the Jordan Valley and all settlements” in the occupied West Bank.
