Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met with British Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) Chief Richard Moore in Ramallah to discuss the latest developments on the ground, the official Palestinian News Agency Wafa reported yesterday.

The meeting was held at the presidential residence in Ramallah, Wafa added without specifying the date of the British official’s arrival in the Palestinian territories, his visit’s duration, or any other details.

Moore’s meeting with Abbas in Ramallah comes at a time when the West Bank and East Jerusalem are witnessing increased tensions, with Israeli forces repeatedly storming Palestinian cities and towns and arresting and killing dozens of Palestinians.
