Sky News apologised to Palestine’s UK envoy for ‘misleading’ reporting of his views

Sky News issued an apology after incorrectly stating that the Palestinian Ambassador to the UK Husam Zomlot had said 'Israel had it coming' in relation to the recent surprise Hamas attack on 7 October 2023. The ambassador had actually stated 'Israel knew that this was coming their way' after years of warnings. Sky News acknowledged the error and admitted that it provided a potentially misleading representation of the ambassador's views.
