Biden's falling moral standard and his bad bet on his fallen partner, Netanyahu

I ended my last article “Israel’s war will not eliminate Hamas … it will eliminate Netanyahu” by saying “Netanyahu’s chaotic leading of a tyrannical adventure will push him to his death, the fall of his fascist government and the end of his political career and his extremist government after his trial and conviction for his failure on the military, security and intelligence levels. Along with this, the theory of the invincible army will fall. It was defeated because Hamas was not defeated by Netanyahu’s losing army.”

The Occupation’s spreading war crimes since the beginning of the war have escalated and Netanyahu’s army has drowned in the quagmire of a genocidal war committed by the killing machine, flooded with the blood of innocents and martyrs in Gaza, as a means to compensate for its security and military failure and losses, by killing innocent and vulnerable people in miserable camps, hospitals and schools, are accompanying its devastating ground incursions. The army has resorted to committing massacres in Jabalya Camp and is launching missiles weighing a tonne each. It is committing massacres in Al-Shati Camp, Al-Bureij Camp, Khan Yunis, Beit Lahia, Beit Hanoun, Tal Al-Hawa, and Al-Zaytoun as revenge for the bravery of the Resistance, its confrontation of the invading forces and engaging with them and its infliction of losses in soldiers and equipment.

OPINION: Mr President, you lie, and Palestinian children die

Unconditional American support continues with weapons, equipment and money, and Congress has allocated $14.3 billion – and 3 visits by Secretary of State, Antony Blinken and Secretary of Defence, Lloyd Austin. They were humiliated, while testifying at a hearing in the Senate, by the appearance of two anti-war activists with their hands dyed red as a symbol of blood and who shouted, “Stop killing the children of Gaza. Stop the war now.” Under the pressure of public opinion and the ongoing demonstrations near the White House, activists stormed the Congress building and the largest train station in New York, which were organised by a Jewish group, with the participation of rabbis who oppose the genocidal war on Gaza.

Biden and his Secretary of State are also facing the beginning of a rebellion within the State Department and the Democratic Party’s wing in Congress – especially from Representative, Rashida Tlaib, of Palestinian origin, who accused Biden of supporting Israel’s genocide of the Palestinians in a split within Biden’s Democratic Party! This is accompanied by a decline in Biden’s popularity in Muslim and Arab-American opinion polls due to his support for Israel’s war crimes and his rejection of a ceasefire, under the pretext that Hamas will benefit from it and allow it to regroup- forgetting Israel’s annihilation of 12,000 Palestinians among those who were martyred or missing under the rubble using American weapons, arsenal, funding and cover. The US has also used its veto power twice in the Security Council to prevent a resolution to stop the war of genocide in Gaza.

The American silence in the face of the Occupation Forces and settlers’ systematic crimes, are a green light for them to kill Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, occupy their homes, burn their cars and destroy their agricultural crops in the West Bank. The number of Palestinians martyred by the Israeli attacks in the West Bank exceeded 250 before the war on Gaza – and 120 martyrs since 7 October and Operation Al-Aqsa Flood and Operation Swords of Iron. The Biden administration is content with expressing its concern, thus encouraging aggression!

According to an analysis published last week in America’s Foreign Policy magazine, there is a state of restlessness and the refusal of Biden and his administration’s position to align and provide unlimited support for the Israeli position by officials in the State Department, National Security Council and the institutions of the deep state. This was confirmed by more than 10 current and former officials in interviews with Foreign Policy. The statistics also show a decline in Arab-American voters’ support for Biden, as 59 per cent of Arab-American voters voted for candidate Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election against his rival, Donald Trump. Veteran diplomat and former State Department expert on Arab-Israeli negotiations, Aaron David Miller, commented, “In 25 years working at the Department of State, I’ve never seen anything like this. It is as if the administration is mediating its own internal Israel-Palestinian conflict.” This is because of the moral bankruptcy of the Biden administration, the increased criticism and the isolation of the US. According to the latest poll, Arab-American voters’ support has plummeted from 59 per cent in 2020 to 17 per cent today because of Biden’s hostile and supportive position on the Zionists’ war on Gaza. In addition to harsh criticism from progressive Democrats, the two Muslim representatives, Ilhan Omar, of Somali origin, who is the first Muslim and veiled American female representative, and Rashida Tlaib, of Palestinian origin, accused Biden of supporting Israel’s annihilation war against the Palestinians with a video.

OPINION: There will be repercussions, the West is collectively responsible for Israel’s genocide in Gaza

This sounds the alarm within the deep state and Democratic Party and puts them on high alert, meaning that Israel and Netanyahu have not only become a heavy burden, but are also making Biden an accomplice in the murders. In doing so, Biden, along with his Party which is being taken hostage, may cost himself the next presidential elections and even their slim majority in the Senate.

What is shocking is Biden’s insistence on his absolute support and his bet on Netanyahu – the losing horse! This is despite what the American website, Politico, published last week, stating that with the victims and martyrs of Israel’s war on Gaza exceeding 10,000 martyrs and more than 2,000 missing under the rubble, officials in the Biden administration were quoted as expecting Netanyahu and his government’s days to be numbered after the end of the war, and that committees will be appointed to investigate his failure. Biden even conveyed this to Netanyahu during his recent visit to Tel Aviv. However, Biden reiterates his position on the two-state solution but allows Israel to destroy any chance of achieving it.

To further confirm his bias in favour of Israel, Biden insisted on visiting Tel Aviv for hours and submitted a request for $14.3 billion to finance and support Israel in its genocidal war against Gaza and its destruction, the displacement of its population to Sinai and the liquidation of the Palestinian cause. This is causing the US to fall into moral and ethical bankruptcy and makes the Biden administration a partner in war crimes against defenceless Palestinians according to international law, international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions.

The lesson is clear: Jews will not feel safe unless a Palestinian State is established. Otherwise, the series of wars, security failures, bombing of settlements and Tel Aviv, economic losses, disruption of normal life and the evacuation of one million Palestinian refugees and half a million settlers in the largest evacuation operation from the settlements surrounding the Gaza Strip and on the borders of Lebanon, and they will fear returning to their illegal settlements. Historically, the security complex has controlled Israeli voters, and they bring down the ruling party that fails to provide security and safety. When will Biden be convinced of his falling moral standard, and that he is making a bad bet on his partner and backing a losing horse?

OPINION: Why does Algeria stop us from organising Gaza solidarity marches?
