The Israeli occupation’s navy attacked at least six Syrian naval vessels in the port of Latakia on Monday, British security firm Ambrey said.
Reuters quoted Ambrey as saying that images taken of the attack showed one naval ship tilting backwards while five others have already sunk.
It added that there was no visible damage to the port’s infrastructure.
Following the ouster of Syrian dictator Bashar Al-Assad on Sunday, Israeli occupation forces moved into the demilitarised zone within Syria created after the 1973 Arab-Israeli war, and later occupied the strategic Mount Hermon, the highest point in the country.

The director of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), Rami Abdel Rahman said the Israeli strikes destroyed the most important military sites and assets of the Syrian army.
