An eleven year old boy was killed on Thursday evening by live fire from an Israeli tank. The incident took place to the east of Al-Faraheen village, near Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip.
Ahmed abu-Dagga, 11, was killed when he was returning home from school during a limited Israeli incursion by tanks covered by military helicopters.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Gaza said that the child was admitted to the military hospital in Khan Younis with “critical injuries” but died soon afterwards.
The Israeli incursion is ongoing.
