Israeli occupation forces arrested a General Intelligence security officer affiliated to the Palestinian Authority at a military checkpoint on Tuesday. The checkpoint was to the east of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
Media activist Alaa Hanani said that the Israeli forces stationed at the Beit Furik checkpoint arrested Ibrahim Khatatbeh when he had stopped at the checkpoint. Speaking to Quds Press, Hanani said that Khatatbeh was detained following an inspection of his vehicle. He was transferred to Israel’s Hawarah detention site in southern Nablus.
A number of incidents happened on Tuesday, with Israeli forces raiding various areas in the West Bank, arresting nine people and clashing with Palestinian students.
