Italian flags were flown at half-mast in his home town of Fiumicino for the funeral of Julio Regina, who was murdered in Egypt. The young man was buried in the presence of dozens of his family members, relatives and friends.
“Now, we have received all the answers we demanded,” said Renzi. “We demanded all the data related to the incident in order to reveal the people responsible for killing Regina.”
Calling the incident a “tragedy” the prime minister added, “We insisted on telling the Egyptians that friendship is a treasure, but there will be no more friendship in the absence of the truth.”
