June 6, 2016 at 2:47 pm

Some 32 people were injured in Syrian regime airstrikes on Aleppo and areas controlled by opposition factions, Al-Arabiya news channel reported.

The raids came hours after opposition forces launched an attack on Iranian operations rooms in Aleppo’s southern suburbs, killing two high-ranking army officers.

The head of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, Rami Abdel Rahman, said that 40 airstrikes resulted in the death of 16 persons, including nine civilians, in barrel bomb strikes on the Al-Qatarji area. Two more civilians, including one child, were killed in regime strikes on other areas.
