Gunmen yesterday seized the car of Palestinian Social Development Minister, Ibrahim Al-Sha’er, near the Qalandiya refugee camp, north of Jerusalem.
The attackers blocked the car’s path and opened fire.
The car was retrieved later in the day, police spokesperson Louay Arziqat said. An investigation is still ongoing to discover who the assailants are.
A Palestinian security source said that the robbery comes after four young men from Qalandiya refugee camp were arrested.
