A six-month-old baby is said to be in a serious condition in hospital after being injured in shelling by Israeli F-16s in the Beir Lahia area of the besieged Gaza Strip yesterday.

Israeli occupation forces struck agricultural land in the area then hit the wall surrounding the Indonesian Hospital which has a residential tower in front of it.

A number of Palestinians were reportedly injured in the strike with a six-month-old baby said to be in hospital in a serious condition.

Earlier today Israeli occupation forces killed Palestinian protesters near the Gaza-Israel border. Demonstrations were being held in opposition to US President Donald Trump’s decision on Wednesday to recognise a united Jerusalem as the capital of Israel contrary to international laws.

While the international community has almost unanimously disagreed with Donald Trump’s announcement, reports suggest that the announcement was done with the pre-agreement of Egypt and Saudi Arabia, with the Saudi Arabia going as far as, allegedly, stating to the Palestinian President to accept a village on the outskirts of Jerusalem as the alternative Palestinian capital.

Since the announcement, Saudi Arabia’s royal court has sent notices to the nation’s media outlets to limit the airtime given to protests against Trump’s announcement.
