Israeli occupation forces “systematically” attacked and wounded more than 100 journalists, including 20 females, since US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital “in order to hinder the reporting of the reality of the occupation on the ground to the world”, Arab48 reported yesterday.

Occupation forces either targeted journalists with live ammunition, rubber-coated steel bullets, tear gas or beat then with batons or rifle butts.

A number of journalists were detained or had their coverage of demonstrations hindered by Israeli occupation forces, the news site reported.
