Israeli Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot has met with his counterparts from several Arab countries during the Counter–Violent Extremist Organisations conference held in Washington, Quds Press reported yesterday.

According to Israel’s KAN public TV, Eisenkot met with Saudi Arabia’s Chief of Staff General Fayyad Bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili on the sidelines of the conference yesterday.

They discussed the “common Iranian threat”, KAN reported and said that they came out with a “conformed Saudi-Israeli vision about how to deal and confront the Iranian threat.”

Meanwhile, Quds Press reported KAN saying Eisenkot appeared, in a photo from the dinner held during the conference, sitting on the same table with the Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces Mohamed Farid, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of Jordan Mahmoud Abdul Halim Freihat and the Chief of Staff of Bahrain Dhiab Bin Saqr Al Nuaimi.
