A Palestinian young man was pronounced dead this morning after he succumbed to a bullet wound he sustained while taking part in a protest rally was staged a few days ago at Gaza’s eastern fence, the Palestinian Information Centre said.
According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, the martyr is 32-year-old Osama Khaled.
Last Saturday, Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition at young men and wounded many of them as they were rallying at the fence that separates the besieged enclave from Israel, in protest at Israel’s continued siege of the Strip.
At least 41 young protesters, including children, were injured by Israeli gunfire during the protest.
