As part of its war against drug traffickers, Gaza’s Anti-Narcotics Unit displayed prohibited narcotics seizures in the enclave and whose traffickers have been arrested.

The items will be destroyed by authorities who put them on display to highlight the extent of the problem in Gaza but also as a deterrent for those hoping to make a living through trafficking illegal substances.

On display were 389,880 illegal tablets including Atramal, 1,873 slabs of hashish weighing 197 kilogrammes and 181 kilogrammes of marijuana and cannabis.
