Iran's supreme leader shares animated video of drone strike targeting Trump

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi called for Trump to be 'prosecuted and killed', vowing revenge if Trump is not put on trial

The website of Iran's Supreme Leader Khamenei showed an animated video of drone strike killing the former US President Donald Trump.

A robot can be seen calling in a drone strike to assassinate the former US President in the golf course at his Mar-a-Lago, Florida.

The animation was part of a contest to mark the one year anniversary of the assassination of former Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) commander Qasem Soleimani, who was slain in a US drone strike in Baghdad on 3 January 2020.

Last week, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi vowed revenge if Trump and Mike Pompeo are not put on trial for Soleimani's assassination. Iran has imposed sanctions on Trump and dozens of current and former US officials allegedly involved in Soleimani's killing.
