Call to prayer restrictions lifted in NYC for Fridays and Ramadan

New York Mayor Eric Adams has lifted all restrictions on mosques broadcasting the call to prayer on Fridays and during Ramadan. Previously mosques and Islamic centres in the city had to apply for a permit, as broadcasting the call to prayer broke sound restriction bylaws.
