Biscuits with limited shelf life arrive in aid shipment to Gaza
A Palestinian films a biscuit he received as part of an aid shipment sent by the UN’s Food World Programme to the besieged Gaza Strip. He highlights that it has only 20 days on its remaining shelf life, saying it is effectively expired. ‘Well, thank you nonetheless,’ he remarks. Israel has cut food, water, electricity and fuel to Gaza’s population of 2.2 million people as it continues a relentless bombing campaign of the territory which has so far claimed the lives of over 9,000 Palestinians, primarily women and children.
