Red Cross reports on Gaza’s critical situation

On treating patients in Gaza’s war zone, Dr. Tom Potkor, chief surgeon of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) reports on the drastic situation. Potkor reports non-survivable injuries, critical supply shortage and staff burn-out. He further elaborates on the living conditions where electricity is scarce and connection is irregular; in addition to shortage in food supplies. His reports highlights the question of the possibility of the continuing of their services. He reports the shortage the basic supplies like dressing, anesthetic and analgesic drugs which are essential in treating burns and rubble victims.
