As the holy month of Ramadan commences, reports have emerged of heightened tensions in Jerusalem. Palestinian worshippers face restrictions from Israeli authorities and have been limited in their access to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, a site of profound significance in Islam and a focal point during Ramadan.
