The US issued a warning to Americans abroad about planned protests on Friday at the embassies of the occupying state and Washington, and other locations around the world, against the crimes committed by the occupying state in the Gaza Strip, according to reports by US media.

The US State Department conveyed in a travel warning message, posted on X on Thursday: “Social media posts on various platforms are calling for demonstrations at US and Israeli facilities on Friday, October 25, 2024. US citizens should avoid demonstrations and exercise caution.”

Since 23 September, the occupation forces have expanded the scope of the genocide they have been committing in Gaza since 7 October 2023, involving most areas in Lebanon, including the capital, Beirut, through unprecedentedly violent and intense airstrikes. They also began a ground invasion into the south, disregarding international warnings and United Nations (UN) resolutions.

The aggression on Lebanon has killed 2,574 people and injured more than 12,000 others, including a large number of women and children. It also displaced more than 1,340,000 people.

The Israeli occupation army, supported by the US and Europe, continues its aggression on the Gaza Strip for the second year, as its aircraft bomb hospitals, buildings, towers and homes of Palestinian civilians. The occupation also prevents the entry of water, food, medicine and fuel.

The ongoing aggression on Gaza by the occupation has killed 42,847 people, injured 100,544 others and displaced 90 per cent of the Strip’s population, according to UN data.
