Israeli warplanes fired a missile at a civilian home in Akkar in northern Lebanon on Tuesday in a fresh violation of the ceasefire agreement concluded more than two weeks ago. The Lebanese National News Agency said that the missile did not explode, but penetrated the three-storey house causing serious damage.
Meanwhile, added the Palestinian Information Centre, the Israeli occupation forces also blew up a number of buildings in the southern Lebanese village of Khiyyam on Monday night.
The news agency said that the occupation army fired artillery shells and opened fire with automatic weapons at villages and hamlets in southern Lebanon.
