The Islamic Jihad movement announced yesterday that a high-level delegation arrived in Doha to participate in the ceasefire-prisoner swap talks between Hamas and Israel.
Earlier, Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman Majed Al-Ansari said the Gaza ceasefire negotiations are in their “final details” and that announcing an agreement is “imminent”.
“A draft agreement has been handed to both Hamas and Israel and major obstacles on key contentious issues between the two sides have been addressed,” he told a press conference in Doha.
Multiple sources confirmed that significant progress was achieved in the negotiations hosted by the Qatari capital, Doha, between Hamas and Israel.
