Israeli forces strip, beat Palestinian men during Jenin raid
After a 2-day raid of the Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, video footage showed occupation forces taking Palestinian men, stripping them, forcing them to bow and then kicking them. Journalists who were in the area to cover Israel's attack were prevented from leaving their hotel by occupation forces. At least 12 Palestinians, including 5 children, were killed in the raid.

2023, the year displaced people broke all records: MEMO in Conversation with Ivana Hajzmanova
Conflict and violence in Sudan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and occupied Palestine drove the number of internally displaced people (IDPs) around the world to 75.9 million at the end of 2023. This is a new record, according to the Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre (IDMC). The body’s global monitoring manager explains the driving forces behind internal displacement and discusses both wars and conflicts and the natural disasters forcing people away from their homes.

The Global Tribunal on Palestine is set to begin its work
Since the announcement in early March of the establishment of the Global Tribunal on Palestine (GTP) by five human rights NGOs based in Geneva, efforts have been underway to ensure the success of this event.
