Ipswich FC captain wears Palestinian flag as club reaches Premier League
A British-Egyptian footballer wore a Palestinian flag in front of TV cameras being broadcast to the world as the football team he captains, Ipswich FC, secured their promotion to the English Premier League, the world's most-watched football league. Sam Morsy has been vocal about Gaza in pitch-side interviews this season in England's 2nd division, and Palestinian activists are hoping he will continue to be when the club enjoys even more air time in the Premier League next season.
