In spite of the restrictions of the entry of humanitarian goods, food, and even kids’ toys as a result of Israel’s siege, Palestinians have continued to fight back, proving - once again - that their bond to the land is greater than Israel’s might to forcibly remove them.
Although one of its declared aims is to upload and ‘destroy’ Hamas, so far, Israel has been unable to create an alternate administration or body that can govern Gaza. Hamas remains in governance and its police forces have been seen on the streets of Gaza.
