Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi issued a decree to temporarily ban a number of officials from travel until investigations into corruption are complete.

During questioning in parliament on Monday, Iraqi Minister of Defence Khalid Al-Obeidi accused Parliament Speaker Salim Al-Jubouri, his two deputies and a number of MPs of trying to pass corrupt contracts under the guise of arming the military.
