Iranian commander: Victories in Yemen and Bahrain after Aleppo

December 15, 2016 at 8:05 pm

Yemen and Bahrain will both be “liberated” after the “enemies of Islam” are removed from Syria’s Aleppo, Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC)’s Deputy Commander, Hossein Salami, said yesterday.

“After the liberation of Aleppo, Bahrain will achieve its aspirations and Yemen will be delighted to defeat the enemies of Islam while the people of Mosul will experience the taste of victory,” Iran’s Fars news agency reported Salami saying.

“The liberation of Aleppo indicates the defeat of the political and military power of the [global] arrogance in one part of the Muslim world and the raising of the flag of Islamic struggle while the [global] arrogance’s flag has fallen,” the Iranian official said.

Salami added that the fact that Aleppo has been liberated shows that the US and its allies, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey, as well as Takfirists have plunged into an abyss of despair.

Remarking on the sanctions imposed on his country, Salami said: “We have overcome the enemies’ sanctions, and we are confident not to pin our hopes on the enemy and we rely on the internal energies of our people.”
