Bahraini Foreign Minister Khalid bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa took to Twitter on Wednesday to say that what is happening in Jerusalem is a “side issue” compared to the fight against fascist Iran.

The minister’s remark provoked angry reactions as it was made ahead of the United Nations vote on a draft resolution rejecting the US President Donald Trump’s decision to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

The Bahraini minister’s comments were described as disrespectful and a betrayal of what is happening in Jerusalem.

Earlier in September Bahraini King Hamad bin Issa Al-Khalifa condemned the boycott of Israel and in December an official delegation from the “This is Bahrain” organisation visited Israel. Bahrain and Israel are in agreement that Iran is a threat to security.

Lesson one in ‘How to commit political suicide.’ This is COMICAL.

The man will be lucky if anyone ever listens to him again! How ABSURD! Jerusalem is priority, ALL disputes end when it is about Jerusalem and Palestine. There is nothing more Arab than Al Aqsa and this guy is ranting about Iran! It’s not Iran occupying Al Quds! The fact that Iran is now more in line with the Arab people than this apparent Arab offical is astonishing!

Where has he been this entire time to be so out of touch with reality?!

Its like watching a crazy man yell at neighbor, for their loud music; while his own house is on fire. Idiot.

      Well said.

If. as you say “There is nothing more Arab than Al Aqsa” why do some Muslims claim it is #3 and some say it is not even that high? Why did the Supreme Muslim Council not mention this minor “fact” in its guide, the same guide that tells us that it is built on Solomon’s Temple that the “Palestinians” now state never existed. You guys need to pick out one lie and stick to it.

You put “Palestinians” in quotes. Why don’t you tell me what “European-Jewish” is?

There are only 26 genetic groups in the world. Mine is #26.

What is yours? Is it #22, is it not? What is “European Jewish”?

That is code for Khazar, is it not? If it is not, please tell me what

The Ashkenazi who makes up 95% of world Jewry is totally of European ancestry, is he not?

    Bahrain population:

    2000: 664,614

    2017: 1,492,584

55% of Bahrain’s population are expats

    Iran population: 80 million.

A stupid desert monarch only made a fool of himself.

  • If Bahrain’s leaders fear Iran so much, why don’t they go fight Tehran themselves? Besides, most of their people are Shi’ite Muslims, so they probably don’t hate Iran nearly as much.
