Israeli politician expresses frustration with UNRWA and Palestinian refugees

Fleur Hassan-Nahoum, Deputy Mayor of Jerusalem, says UNRWA has not solved the ‘refugee problem’ since its inception, but only perpetuated it. In a Sky News interview, she said the organisation’s ‘whole ethos’ is to ‘keep the refugee crisis fresh,’ describing the displacement of Palestinians since 1948 as ‘an inherited problem’.
