Israeli forces yesterday arrested 19 Palestinian minors in Jerusalem and six Palestinian adults in the occupied West Bank, Arab48.com reported.

Palestinian sources said that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the Ras Al-Amoud neighbourhood in Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and arrested seven minors, while in Jabal Al-Zaytoun and Al-Tur neighbourhoods they arrested four others.

The sources added that the Israeli forces arrested eight minors from Al-Issawiyyah neighbourhood in the centre of East Jerusalem.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces stormed the occupied West Bank and arrested six Palestinian citizens from their homes in Beit Rima, Beit Amer and Al-Aroub Refugee Camp.

An Israeli army spokesperson said yesterday that five Palestinians were arrested after they were suspected of “terrorism” against the Israeli army and settlers, in addition to taking part in clashes with the army.

The spokesman added that 20 Israeli buses entered the Yusuf Tomb in Nablus for “prayers and supplications” under the protection of the army.

Israeli forces also arrested four Palestinian children aged between 10-11 years, for allegedly throwing stones at a bus. The moment of their arrest, as they were coming home from school, has been captured on video. Tensions are extremely high in the Occupied Territories, as Palestinian protestors continue to clash with Israeli forces, as well as those of the Palestinian Authority.
