In the wake of a spate of recent vandalism attacks on Jewish community centres and Jewish cemeteries, several Muslim Americans stepped up to offer their support to the victims via Twitter, the Huffington Post first reported.
Examples include veterans such as ‘The Muslim Marine’ who explained that he would protect Jewish centres and cemeteries because “Islam requires it”
I'm a #MuslimMarine in Chicagoland area. If your synagogue or Jewish cemetery needs someone to stand guard, count me in. Islam requires it.

In stark contrast to these reactions, President Trump responded to questions about anti-semitic attacks by discussing his electoral college victory:

and then, after being asked about it again, he told a jewish reporter to “sit down” and be “quiet, quiet, quiet”.
