Tornado strikes Turkiye's Black Sea region

The small-scale tornado that occurred in Turkiye's Black Sea province of Amasya caused fear in the region on Tuesday evening.

Local people recorded the tornado in Gumushacikoy district of Amasya with their smart phones.

The tornado, which occurred after the rain in Ovabasi village of the district and reached a height of meters, disappeared after a while.

While the tornado did not cause any damage, there was short-term fear in the area.
