Palestinians in Israel yesterday organised an event to show their support for the global BDS movement in Nazareth, the Safa news agency reported.
The activity was organised after it was revealed that a secret Jewish conference had been recently held in Jerusalem to confront the BDS movement.
Activists said BDS had caused economic and academic losses to Israel.
Some 150 Jewish and Israeli leaders from around the world took part in the Jerusalem conference, writing reports, papers and proposals on how to overcome the effects of BDS.
The Israeli Ministry of Internal Security and Ministry of Strategic Affairs called for the conference and no media cover was given to the event.
Meanwhile, hundreds of Arabs in Israel took to the streets in Haifa on Saturday evening in protest against the racist Israeli policies practiced against them.
A number of prominent Palestinian figures participated in the demonstration, including Sheikh Raed Salah, Mohamed Baraka and a number of other Arab Members of the Knesset.
