‘US never wanted a diplomatic resolution with Hamas’

US State Department spokesperson, Matthew Miller, stressed in a press briefing on Monday that the US has 'never wanted to see a diplomatic resolution with Hamas', which they do want to see with Lebanon and Iran. This comes months after Washington's renewed calls for a ceasefire in Gaza, while it provided Israel with bombs it needed to raze the enclave.
