Israel is ‘misleading’ world by taking ‘aid’ to northern Gaza

The Israeli occupation army is lying and trying to mislead the world by sending flour to northern Gaza while reinforcing its policy of systematic starvation and killing at least 342 Palestinians within the past ten days, the Gaza government media office has said.

“The occupation army is misleading the world by sending trucks of flour to the northern Gaza Strip, after intensifying the siege and closure for the past 170 consecutive days, closing all humanitarian outlets and even continuing to carry out its genocide,” said the media team. “It has killed and wounded hundreds of civilians, including children and women, in the ongoing slaughter over the past ten days alone.”

What is happening in the northern Gaza Strip is genocide and ethnic cleansing in clear sight, with the complete destruction of homes, neighbourhoods, streets, roads, hospitals, schools, mosques and all other vital civilian infrastructure, the team added. “This is occurring within the framework of the US-Israeli occupation plan for displacement, which is the largest and most dangerous such plan of the twenty-first century.”

The government office reiterated its call for help from the international community, appealing to all free countries and all international organisations and UN agencies to put all forms of pressure possible on the criminal Israeli occupation regime to stop the genocide, particularly but not exclusively in the northern Gaza Strip.
