You stay in Calais
Conditions are deplorable in the camps in Calais. An estimated 5,000 people displaced from countries including Syria, Libya and Eritrea are believed to be camped in and around Calais. The United Nations special representative on international migration, Peter Sutherland, has called conditions in one of the Calais camps, known as the "jungle", as "an indictment on society" and said he was shocked by the squalid and dangerous conditions. Remaining here would mean you would have to continue living in such conditions, relying on donations to survive.
